Before launching the application, ensure your test rig meets the minimum baseline configurations required by Futuremark PCMark Vantage:
Operating System: Windows Vista (32-bit or 64-bit; Ultimate, Home Premium, Home Basic, Enterprise, or Business).
Processor: Intel Pentium 4 (3.0 GHz) or equivalent AMD processor with minimum SSE2 instructions support.
Graphics: DirectX 9 / Shader Model 2.0 compliant GPU with at least 256MB VRAM.

Background applications will disrupt the timing algorithms or intentionally trigger a test termination.
Close Apps: Shut down all programs, web browsers, and background chat clients.
Disable Power Savings: Access the Vista Control Panel and select the High Performance power plan to stop the CPU from downclocking mid-test.
Reboot the PC: Restart the system and allow it to sit idle for 5 minutes so background startup services finish loading.
