Whether you are broadcasting live DJ sets, terrestrial radio feeds, or automated playlists, setting up this tool correctly ensures a stable, uninterrupted stream.
Here is a step-by-step guide to configuring RadioCaster for seamless internet broadcasting. 1. Configure the Audio Source
The first step is telling RadioCaster exactly what audio it needs to capture from your computer.
Open RadioCaster and locate the Change button next to the “Source” indicator on the main screen. Select your preferred audio input method:
Capture playback: Choose this option if you want to stream music directly from software playing on the same computer, such as RadioBOSS, Winamp, or Spotify.
Sound card: Select this if you are routing audio into your computer via a physical microphone, hardware mixer, or external auxiliary line.
Network stream: Use this option if you are relaying a pre-existing URL stream from another server. Click OK to save your input preference. 2. Set Up Your Broadcasting Server
To send your audio out to the world, you must connect RadioCaster to your streaming host.
Click the + (Plus) icon in the “Encoders” section on the right side of the main window.
